Our History
Cliff's Crane and Equipment Repair was founded in 1985 by Cliff Hobza. He spent the next 25+ years specializing in mobile crane repair and growing in experience with a variety of makes and models of mobile cranes, overhead cranes, hoists, lifts, service truck mounted cranes, and boom trucks. He became a leader in the changing industry, continuing to adhere to OEM standards and keeping customers up-to-date on the current federal regulations governing the industry. Cliff set the bar high with his reputation of commitment to safety, integrety, honesty and hard work.
Cliff has passed on his wealth of knowledge to the future faces of Cliff's Crane Repair, Richard Miles and Scott Hobza. Richard has worked hand in hand with Cliff for the last 8 years and Scott not only has experience in crane repair, but has previous experience in crane operation, offering a unique perspective. Both gentlemen are certified crane inspectors and mechanics, and are commited to continuing Cliff's philosophy of quality and honesty, never compromising safety.
